Weekly Talks

Some of the students of the 4A chose to participate in a project called “Weekly Talks”. They got the chance to speak with residents of the Hallamshire Care Home, an English nursing home, via weekly video calls. Here is what Lilli, one of the students, said about her conversations with one of the residents:
My first time speaking to her was a bit difficult, but she was very sweet, and her story was interesting. She was eleven when the war started, and luckily nothing bad happened to her family. The next topic was about dyslexia. She also has dyslexia, and I like having someone to relate to!
